Acupuncture and Pregnancy
Women having Acupuncture during pregnancy has become increasingly popular. It offers a safe, drug free treatment option during the 1st, 2nd and 3rd trimesters of pregnancy, when there may be no other treatment option.
Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) view pregnancy, childbirth and postnatal recovery as a window of opportunity to enhance the woman’s well being. The focus is placed upon promoting preventative care, to improve the health of both the mother and baby.
